In the midst of Coronavirus break out many celebrities are coming forward to contribute to the relief fund. In recent times, even sportspersons have been making their contribution to the Indian government relief fund.
Indian Vice-Captain and powerhouse Rohit Sharma have come forward and given 80 lakhs for the relief fund that PM Modi has announced. Rohit Sharma has made two payments which are of 45 Lakhs and 25 lakhs for the relief fund of Maharashtra.
Rohit Sharma has also been the few among the first player to spread awareness about the virus in his social media account. During the whole Coronavirus lockdown, he has been sending lots of awareness statement to his fans via twitter.

On his Twitter page, he has mentioned how this is our place to help our nation get back on its feet and how he has contributed 45 lakhs to the PM relief fund and 25 lakhs to CM relief fund. It has to be noted that Rohit Sharma has contributed 5 Lakhs to Zomoto initiated Zomot Feeding India Campaign and 5 lakhs to the welfare of stray dogs.
So far many of the Indian players have contributed to the welfare of the nation. Some of the mentionable names are Sachin Tendulkar – 51 lakhs, Virat Kohli – 3 Crores, and many more.
