Pakistan Cricket Board Clear the air about No Pakistan Players in Asia XI Squad

Yesterday Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the 15 players squad for the Asia XI team which will face the World XI team. The 15 players are made up of 6 Indian players, 4 Bangladesh Players, 2 Afghanistan Players, 2 Sri Lanka players, and 1 Nepal Player.

After this announcement, the Twitter is flooded with hatred message towards the BCB for not selecting even a single Pakistan player for Asia XI squad. To calm the people PCB has released a note which explains why there were no Pakistan Players.

In their written statement PCB mentioned that Pakistan cannot send their player to play in the 2 T20 games. BCB has scheduled to conduct the games on March 20 to 26th (tentative dates). Whereas Pakistan is hosting its domestic league Pakistan Super League. It is scheduled to see the finals of March 22nd.

Since the date of PSL and the Asia XI vs World XI is in a clash Pakistan has requested their neighbouring nation that they cannot send any Pakistan players to play in the Asia XI team. Also one of the spokesmen from the PCB mentioned that it is sad how this news was twisted and presented to the general public.
