In the final game of his career as the captain, Mashrafe Mortaza scored his 50th win. In a scintillating 3rd ODI between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh, Mortaza Announced that he will step down as the captain of the team after that match.
In the game which has everything like, high scored Bangladesh, interruption from rain and winning the game by 123 runs by DLS method, Bangladesh has it all. So at the end of his awesome career, Mortaza is given an awesome sendoff from his captaincy with a 50 game win. Also, Bangladesh bagged the series by 3 – 0 against ZIM.
In the post-match Mortaza has expressed that he was relieved that his responsibility in the team has been lessened. He also mentioned that it was a huge responsibility to carry the team in his shoulder and some might have enjoyed and some might have hated it. But he was happy to complete his career has the captain with a positive note.

Mortaza has not made it clear whether he will be playing after this or not. Because he has not announced his retirement but he has said that he is stepping down from the captain position. We have to wait and see whether he will play in the Bangladesh team in the next game and who will captain the team after Mortaza.
